教材分析与处理

本课内容来自PEP NSEFC 教材Module 8 Unit 2。本课的Using Language 包括Reading, discussing and writing 和Listening and Speaking 两部分。学生已经在第一部分了解到Argument的结构并且完成一篇习作。本单元的写作任务Argument，为了降低难度使之更加符合本班学生的实际，重点培养学生的读写能力，使学生在有限的时间内最大限度地实现从语言的输入到语言的输出，教师把第二部分改编成为读说写技能整合课，通过范文阅读，学生能够更好地了解、熟悉“利弊分析”的议论文文体、结构和语言特点；经过比较、模仿、讨论，学生能顺利完成写作任务。

教学目标

（1）语言技能

能够运用本单元学习词汇讨论旅行和留学的利与弊；能总结、提炼出“利弊分析”的写作技巧和手法；能运用这些技巧和手法写一篇关于“出国留学”的利弊分析。

（2）语言知识

学会表达和支持个人观点；掌握“利弊分析”的语言要素和结构特点。

（3）学习策略

通过对话题的讨论和对阅读文本的分析、整理和归纳，掌握模仿写作规律。

（4）情感态度和文化意识

进一步了解旅游和留学的利与弊，帮助学生拓展视野、树立国际意识，提高思辨能力。

教学思路

本节读写课属于阅读仿写课型，教学设计基本按照读写整合教学模式进行。教师首先以网络流行话引入“旅行”这一话题，引导学生讨论旅行的利与弊，激发学生的兴趣。然后要求学生阅读一篇教师创写的“旅游的利弊分析”范文，通过完成五个阅读任务，了解“利弊分析”的文本特点、结构，掌握相关词汇。继而从旅游过渡到留学，组织学生进行头脑风暴写出留学的利与弊的一些关键词。在语言、结构、素材、写作技巧的层次铺垫后，最后要求学生独立写作。初稿写完后，先由教师点评，然后学生进行自评和润色，最后修改成文。

教学过程

Step1: Lead-in 1.

Use a popular saying on the internet " to lead in the topic. “Beyond the pots and pans, there should be poetry and the far afield.” (生活不知眼前的苟且，还有诗和远方。）

【设计说明】话题导入。通过流行话引入学生熟悉的话题“旅游”，引导学生谈论旅游的利与弊。

Step2: Reading

Nowadays, more and more people prefer to travel quite often. There is no denying the fact that we can not only relax ourselves but also broaden our horizons. When we travel, we will learn about the culture and customs of the local places and forget pressure both from work and life. Besides, it is good for the economy of the place being visited because people come and spend money there. What’s more, it gives us opportunities to make friends.

However, every coin has two sides. Its negative aspects are also apparent. One of the disadvantages is that we might meet with some difficulties and dangers. For example, it’s possible that we lose our way or get robbed. Moreover, it becomes a burden to the transportation system, resulting in worse traffic jam and more air pollution.

As far as I am concerned, the positive aspects outweigh the negative ones. Therefore, we should go traveling if we are in good health condition and have enough money. Read the passage above to find out the features of the organization. Fill in the blanks and answer the questions.
