Preparations：

PPT, Word cards. Teaching procedures: Step1: Warm up 1.Sing a song 《Donkey, donkey》。

2.Game: Read the words quickly. Eg: Forest, forest, Yeah! 3.Free talk: What’s your favourite food\ animal? What day is it today? What’s your favourite day? Why? Step2: Presentation 1.But, what day is it?

Ss: It’s Sunday. Mike and John don’t go to school, they go to a zoo. Are they happy?

齐读句子（It’s Sunday, Mike and John go to a zoo. They are happy. ）

What time is it?

Ss: It’s 8:00. Where are Mike and John now?

齐读句子(At 8:00 o’clock, they are in the zoo.) What can you see in the zoo? 2.But, look. What are they?

Ss: They are fish. What colour are the fish?

Ss: They are red. Where are the fish?

Ss: They are in the river/ lake. 出示句子（There are many red fish in the lake.）

But, the fish are hungry. We can feed the fish. 教读feed.注意读写结合。

What can you feed the fish?

填空形式让学生说：Feed the fish with_____.

You shouldn’t feed the fish with_____.（教读You shouldn’t….,帮助理解意思。）

让学生说，强化feed 一词。The baby is hungry. Feed the baby with______. The cat is hungry. Feed the cat with______. The rabbit is hungry. Feed the rabbit with______. Mike and John feed the fish with some bread. Are the fish happy? (个别读——小组分角色读上面一段短文) 3.But Where are Mike and John now?

Ss: They are near a tiger.

The tiger shouts: “Roar, roar….”

引导学生说The tiger is hungry, too. 学生读Mike 的话：“The tiger is hungry, too. Let’s feed the tiger with some bread.”

Do the tigers like bread?

学生读John的话：“No, no! You shoudn’t feed the tiger with bread.”

(注意shouldn’t，和读的语气.) What can you feed tiger?

Ss: Feed the tiger with_____. 引出meat Mike: “Oh, sorry.I have no meat.”

John: “No, we have meat. You are the meat. Let me feed the tiger!”

Mike：

“Oh, no!”

个别示范，分角色读，注意语气

出示这一段，齐读，并填出所缺部分。

It says: “You shouldn’t touch the tigers!

They are dangerous(危险的). 教读touch (注意读写结合) 让学生说：You can touch the rabbits,….
