教学内容:Unit 1,Book 8(1) 教学目标:
知识目标:
1、To enable students listen, read and write the words: happy, sad, angry, tired, bored, excited 2、To make students use the sentence: How are you doing? I feel sad. How come? My good friend Laura is leaving. 3、The pronunciations of the words: excited and tired. 能力目标:
1、Through listening, reading, role play, making dialogues students can listen,read and act out the dialogues even to recite the context.
2、Through learning the whole text, we can let the students write a little composition about themselves according to their learning in the class.
情感目标:
Train students to learn to cooperate with others.
教学重点:
To create real environment to use the sentence: How are you doing? I feel…
教学难点:
Enable to understand the difference between“How are you doing?”and“What are you doing?”
教具准备: word cards, courseware,books, teaching tools. 教学时间:2课时
教学流程:
一、复习检测(检测学过的一些形容词happy,sad为本课做以铺垫)
二、新课传授
1.(1)listening,singing ,following: If You Are Happy !(课件2)
(2)Greet the Ss by using the everyday English: T: How are you today ? S: I’m fine ,thank you . And you? T: I feel happy today . Lead them to answer : I’m … with different feelings. 2. T makes some different kinds of emotions and asks the Ss to guess the words.(课件3,4,5) (1)Who are they ? A happy family. (2)How are they doing ? (introduce) They ’re happy. /She’s angry. 3.一、Words and Sentences Study (师生、生生问答)
Look at the pictures and try to guess. Take out the picture with “sad” emotion ,ask and answer .(课件6-11) Then ask the Ss to answer the question: How are you doing ? I feel sad. ( How are you doing by watching the emotions on the cards: I feel happy / angry / tired/sad/ excited /bored….Explain the word with emotions.) 2.Asking and answering: 1)By watching the pictures, lead the Ss to ask and answer:
--- How are you doing? ---I feel …
2)Ask the Ss answer the question with their own conditions, T continues to ask: How come? If the Ss can’t answer it, Teacher can suggest them like this: You feel happy, Maybe you eat a nice breakfast. By using this way, Ss can understand the sentence in a real environment. After that, the Ss practice asking and answering in pairs. 4.
T: There are some students coming back to school. How are they doing? Listen and get the answer.(课件12,13,14,15) (1)
How are they doing ,Xiao Hui ? I ’m happy. (2)
How are they doing ,Linda ? I feel sad . (3)Linda is sad . How come ? Because her good friend Laura is leaving . (4)What’s Xiao Hui ’s feeling tip.(情感小贴士,group work) Don’t worry .You can email her . 5. Read silently and fill in the blanks in groups.(课件16)

9.留白读,去掉文中关键词让学生填空读。
10. Read the passage and answer the questions: 1)
How is May doing ? How come? 2)
How is Tom doing? How come? 3)
How is the teacher doing? How come? It’s the first day of the new term. May is excited, she can meet her good friends. Tom is sad ,his best friend Peter is leaving. The teacher is very happy, because she like her classmates very much. After answering the questions ,fill in the blanks and talk about your classmates and your teachers. Share it with your partners. It’s the first day of the new term. (Students can imitate it and try to write it down.) 12.Today we learn the text and the words. 13.
