六下Unit 4 Road safety(第一课时) 单元教材分析:
本单元围绕“行路安全”这一话题,呈现了若干行路规则和安全知识,旨在引导学生树立正确过马路的安全知识。这一话题与学生的生活紧密相关,通过如何过马路的行为指南及车辆的行驶规则,重点呈现了情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t的用法,在学习过程中联系生活实际,鼓励学生认识更多交通标识,掌握安全知识,做遵守交通规则的社会公民。
学情分析:1. “行路安全”这一话题贴合学生的生活实际,也是非常重要的一个内容。学生对过马路的交通规则、红绿等的具体含义以及车辆的行驶规则已有一定的知识经验基础。
2. 本课所重点学习的情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t可以结合六年级上册的Unit5,Unit6,Unit7中的can\should等情态动词来进行关于规定和规则的表达。
学习目标:

first then look for a zebra crossing look at the traffic lights wait for the green man Teach: green\red man T: What is green man? What is red man? What do they mean? The policeman tells us. When the light is red, that means we must not cross the road. What about the yellow man? Ss: (根据学生已有知识经验)It means “wait”
That is to say red man means stop, green man means go, yellow man means wait. 3. 自读课文,学习课文第二部分
