Unit4 We love animals.

Teaching aims: 1. The kids will be able to know some names of the pets. 2. The students will be able to describe the pets with the words like clever,cute,naughty,and noisy. 3.The students will be able to chant. Teaching aids: PPT ,word cards.

Teaching procedures: I.Warming up 1.Greeting and sing songs:Do you like cats? 2.Free talk:What day is it today?What time is it?

II.Presentation 1.Listen to the sound of the animals or look at part of the pictures to guess what it is.(这里cat/dog/hamster可以听声音猜，后面几种老师给孩子们观察一些相关的图片并描述特征让学生猜并板书这部分动物的词卡。其中parrot\hamster\tortoise比较难可以带Ss多读）

Ss 猜出后PPT以第一人称呈现Hello.I am a cat. 最后总结，所有动物出现We are pets. 2. PPT出现tiger

Ss:No Pet means the small animals kept in the house for fun. 3.

What other pets do you know? 引导学生用Is the ...a pet?向老师提问。

Witchy:Yes Didi: Let’s go to the pet shop,ok?

Witchy:Ok. They go to the pet shop.(用PPT呈现pet shop）

Ss: Mary has a dirty cat. T：So Mary helps the cat to take a shower.Wow.The cat is beautiful and clean.Mary is happy.(PPT) 8.
