1、知识目标：

（1）掌握新单词：

first , second, third , fourth , fifth , sixth , seventh , eighth , ninth , tenth , eleventh , twelfth.

（2）句型：Liming is the first .

The girl is the second .

The boy in red shorts is the third .

January is the first month .

2、能力目标：

使学生掌握本课所学序数词，并能实际运用序数词。

3、情感态度：关注学生的喜好、需求，营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂氛围。通过多样性的活动，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生在英语课堂中不断体验成功，感受乐趣，树立自信心，促进学生综合语言运用能力的发展。

4、教学重点：

Step 1 Warm-up

T: Hello ！

Boys and girls ！

S: Hello ！

T: Good , sit down , please ！

Let’s sing a song “Twelve Months”.

Step 2 Review

1. let’s review the twelve months.

T:January,February, March ,April ,May, June ,July ,August ,September, October ,November, December.

2.Let’s play a game. 把学生分成A、B、C、D四组，每组选一个同学到讲台上拍篮球，其他同学用英语给他数数。这样会出现不同的得分。引出first,second,third三个单词。

Step 3Look at this picture.

T: How many students are there in the picture?

Ss:Three. T:What are they doing?

Ss:They are running.

T:“This is a race.”

Read a word “race”. Read the word and the sentence.

T:Who won the race? “Li Ming is the first.”

Say a word “first”第一. Read the word and the sentence. “The girl is the second.”

Say a word “second”第二. Read the word and the sentence. Say a word “third”第三. Read the word and the sentence.

Look at the questions and answer them.T:1.Who is the first? Choose A. 2.Who is the second? Choose B. 3.Who is the third? Choose C.

Step 4 Look at here.读基数词和序数词。

T：同学们，你们来看看基数词变序数词有什么规律呢？齐读基数词变序数词的规律。

男生女生分读基数词序数词，全班分两组分读基数词和序数词。

Step 5 Let’s match and say. Let’s say the months of the year. January is the first month.把月份单词和对应的序数词相连线。

Step 6出示课件课堂小结和课后作业。

教学反思：设计本节课本着“以学生为主”的课堂理念，利用歌曲、游戏等激发学生的学习兴趣。鼓励学生认真观察发现序数词的变化规律。通过游戏创设情境，寓教于乐，让学生体会基数词与序数词的不同用法。

本节课也有不足之处。学生在游戏环节时间过多，学生逐个练习的时间过少。学生应多练习用月份单词和序数词造句。
