Teaching Contents: Part C Story time

Teaching Aims:

1、学生能够在情境中运用句型Good morning. How are you?向别表达问候并回应别人的问候。

2、复习颜色单词,并了解彩虹的颜色组成。

3、学生能够掌握并表演story time中的故事,并学会爱护花草。

Key points & Difficulties:

1、Key points: 复习颜色词汇,掌握问候语。

2、Difficulties: 要求学生能够在实际情境中灵活运用语言进行问候并能表演故事。Teaching procedures:

Step I: Warming up

1.An English song:Colour Song.

2.Review the words of the colour.

Show the picture of the rainbow. Ss answer the question.

T: What colour do you see in the rainbow?

Ss: I see…

Step II: Presentation

1.Lead in the rainbow flower and teach the new word ”look” .

Ss say the colours in the rainbow. Then T says: Look! _______.

Ss read after the T and learn “look”.

After the Ss saying the words of the colours, T puts up the colourful petals of the flower on the blackboard, and show a rainbow flower on the Bb. 2.Review the sentence “Good morning” and teach the new sentences “how are you? Fine, thank you.”

T: Look! This is the rainbow flower. Now listen carefully.

Show the sounds of the rainbow flower “Good morning”. Ask Ss to answer it. Then show the sounds of the rainbow flower “How are you?”Teach the sentence and give the answer.

Ask Ss to practice these sentences: How are you? Fine, thank you.

3.Watch the story and answer the questions.

T: The flower is so cute. Will you pick it?

Ss: No.

T: But today someone picks the flowers. Let’s watch and find, “Who picks the flowers?”

Show the video of the story and then ask Ss to choose the questions.

4.Teach “Wow! Flowers!” and “A … flower.”

T: Now we know Zoom picks the flowers. But do you know “What colour of the flowers does he pick?”

Show the different colours of the flower and say “Wow! Flowers!”

Ss read it and act. Then ask Ss to answer the question like this: A red/yellow/blue flower.

Put up the sentence and the flowers on the Bb. Then teach the sentence. 5.Teach the sentence: I like …flowers.

T: There are so many flowers. What colour do you like?

Ss: I like … flowers.

6.Know the advice: Don’t pick the flowers.

T: Zoom picks the flowers. What will Zip suggest? Let’s watch the story again and find the answer.

7.Read and imitate.

T: You did a good job. Now let’s listen and imitate. Please pay attention to the stress and tone.

8.Read and fill in.

9.Act the story out.

T give an example with a student. Ss prepare it with partner. Then ask Ss to act the story before the class.

Step III: Extension

1.Make a new dialogue.

T: Zoom picks the flowers. What will you advise?

Ss: Zoom, don’t pick the flowers.

T: You advises Zoom not to pick the flowers. The rainbow flower thanks a lot for your advice. So she will give you some flowers. Can you tell her what colour you like. Please make a new dialogue with your partner.

T give an example first. Then Ss practice it.

Ask Ss to act it before the class.

Step IV: Give an advice

T: How cute the flowers are. Please don’t hurt the flowers.

Step VI: Homework

1.Listen to P21 and try to imitate.

2.Finish the exercises about this period.

3.Greet your family or friends in English.
