description words and its opposite means. Step II Teaching process Ask students do 1a by themselves and ask a student by random to do 1a in front of the class on the PPT. Then correct their answers together. T: OK , you are awesome! You know the describe words well now. Let’s listen to the tape, and I want to know if you can listen to the describe words correctly .Ok , begin. Then do 1b and check the description words they hear. Then check the answers together. T: At the beginning ,he said today is Tuesday . Do you remember the days of the week?

Let’s see the video first.

Then let the students watch the video and be able to remember the days of the week.

Then ask students to write the days of the week on their guiding papers. And ask another students by random to write the days of the week on the blackboard. Then correct the words together . Then learn the new words together. And ask students write them down on their guiding papers .

Then ask some students to answer the questions: Do you know which day is the first day of the week?

Can you tell me which day is your favorite day of the week? And why? T:Everyday, you have many class. And our school have many subjects. Do you know all the subjects in English ? Show students some pictures and ask them to answer the subjects in English together. Let’s listen again.

And circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. Before listening , ask students if they know the A.M. and P.M. . Then correct the answers together. Step III Pair-work Ask students to do 1d and talk about David's favorite subject with their partners. Then ask them show their answers in front of the class. After that let them do another pair work. Talk about your favorite subject with your partner and finish the conversation on the guiding paper. Then ask them show their answers in front of the class. Step IV Summary Summary the key points that they have learned in this class together.

Step V Exercises.

Ask students do some exercises on their guiding papers in 3 minutes. Then ask them give their guiding papers to their group leader. And exchange the answers with another group. Then correct their answers together . At last , ask their group add their points in their groups. And write the answers on the blackboard. Step VI Homework. Writing work Make a school schedule for your class in English Oral work 1. Recite the new words. 2. Talk about your favorite subject with your friends.

______________________________________________________ Teaching Reflections The students are very active in this lesson. The students are enthusiastic about their studies.

Through the exercises, I can see that most of the students have a good grasp of the key content of this lesson. But in the process of listening, it is found that listening ability of students is not good.

So I should strengthen the practice of listening in the future.
