教学目标：

Know how to read the map and know the ways of expressing different directions. 2.

Learn about different animals and their features in the zoo. 3.

Learn to show the way to different places in English. 重难点

Step1 : Free talk Students have a free talk about where to go on a trip. Step2 Checking for preparation Step3: While-reading 1.

Go through the text and find out what animals they see. 2.

Listen and find where the animals are in the zoo. Finish Part B1 on Page45

Read Para1 and answer two questions: A: Where are the students? B: What do pandas like to do? 4.

Read Para.2and 3 and fill in the blanks.

Read para.4 and say something about giraffes and elephants 6.

Read the text more carefully and find out sentences about showing the way

它们，从而学习与动物以及如何指路有关的英语词汇句子信息。因内容贴近学生生活，图片生动形象，学习参与学习的兴趣强烈，小组合作，培养学生团队精神，展示个人能力，教学目标达成率高。选取六种主要动物描述，提醒学生要抓住有代表性的，典型的特征描述事物，以此培养学生在阅读中对细节信息的理解和把控能力。
