一、教学目标

（一）知识目标

1. 学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：people, many, child, women, men 2. 学生灵活应用下列句型：We arrive in______.

They are on their way to ______. There are many ______.

playing______. 3. 学生能够理解并掌握下列单词的单复数形式：child/children, man/men, woman/women （二）能力目标

能灵活使用现在进行时表示正在做的事情。

（三）情感目标

激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高学生的观察能力和口头表达能力。

Step 1: Warm-up 1. 问候

T:Good morning boys and girls. S: Good morning teacher. T:How is the weather today? S:It’s sunny. T:How are you? S:Fine ,Thanks. T:Ok,let’s sing a song. T:Next,listen and do .(stand sit run jump sing) 【设计目的：通过师生谈话，唱英语歌曲，激发学生学习热情，活跃课堂气氛，巩固前面所学的表示动作的词汇和句式，为进一步学习做铺垫。】

2. 课文导入

T：Please look at the picture. Can you guess what is it? S:

It’s

Beijing.

T: Okay .What do you know about Beijing? S:Beijing is the capital city of China. T: Ling Ming and his friends arrive in Beijing. They are excited. They want to see everything , but first they have to go to their hotel. On their way, they see a park. What do they see in the park? Step 2: Presentation 1. People in Beijing (1) 运用课件教授新词汇。

（出示一个男人的图）单词说：a man。（出示更多的男人并把他们圈住），说：men。（出示一个女人和更多女人的图片）

用同样的方式教授woman和women。

（出示一个孩子的图片）教授child。指着这名同学说：This is a child. 让

学生跟读。然后再让三名学生走上前来，说：They are children.

(2)以小组为单位，比一比谁记得快。

【设计目的：通过单词拼写游戏，活跃课堂气氛，实现精讲多练，巩固所学知识。】

(3) 学习句型:There be句型和现在进行时造句。

There are ________in the park. A child is _____a kite . Some children are__________. A girl is ________. 2. （出示图片），小组讨论。

What time do they arrive in Beijing? Where are they now? Who is flying a kite? What are the children doing in the park? What are the old women doing? What is a man doing? What are the old men doing? 学生读。

Step 3: Practice Let’s do it!

1. Read Part 1. Answer the questions. 让学生翻到第21页。把全班分为几个小组。告诉学生独立阅读课文第1部分，读完后，对这三个问题轮流进行问答。

2. Look and match. 让学生看第21页下面的练习。这个练习要求他们看图并阅读下面的句子，

然后把句子和相应的图片匹配起来。将图片序号写在对应的句子旁边的方框内。

Step 5: Homework 用英语讲述身边的人正在做的事情，使用本课句式进行练习。
