Revise the Past Participle as the Adverbial Ss’ English learning condition: （学情分析）

Most of the students are so poor in English Grammar, so we should simplify this part, making it easier for them to learn. Teaching goal:

Teaching difficult points: how to properly use the Past Participle as the Adverbial Teaching assessment: Through this part, Ss feel it easier for them to learn English grammar, so encourage them to practise a little more after class.

Step2 New lesson-- Revise the Past Participle as the Adverbial 1. 过去分词(短语)作时间状语，相当于一个时间状语从句

Seen from the top of the building, our school looks beautiful. (=When our school is seen)

2. 过去分词(短语)作原因状语, 相当于一个原因状语从句

Destroyed by the hurricane, the old house is nowhere to be found. (=As/Because the old house has been destroyed)

3. 过去分词(短语)作条件状语, 相当于一个条件状语从句

Punished

by the parents, he won’t come again.

(=If he is punished)

4. 过去分词(短语)作让步状语, 相当于一个让步状语从句。

Tired,

he went on working. (=Although he was tired)

5. 过去分词(短语)作伴随或方式状语

She walked out of the house, followed by her little daughter. (=and she was followed)

6. 特别注意:

过去分词(短语)作状语时,一般情况下其

逻辑主语一定是句子的主语。

过去分词与逻辑主语（句子主语）构成

动宾关系（被动关系）。
