Teaching procedures Step 1 Warming-up and Revision 1.

Play a competitive game.

Let students in three groups stand up and say the subjects as quickly as they can according to the pictures. Each group will get one point if gives a right answer. The group who has highest grades in the end of the class will be the winner.

Take the adjectives to their homes according to the good or bad things. Ask students to divide the adjectives into two parts. Then teach new words: free, cool. 3.

Pair work

A: What's your favorite subject? B: My favorite subject is.... A: Why do you like it? B: Because it's.... Step 2 Preparation 1.

Play a song about days of the week.

T: What is the song about? Ss: It is about the days of a week.

T: How many days are there in a week? Ss: Seven. T：Let’s learn the seven days of a week.

2. Teach new words. Show the seven days of a week and teach the new words: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. 3
