教学设计：

1.总体思路：

1）本节课所授内容为本单元中的reading部分，讲述的是电脑的发展史以及对人们生活的重大影响。在教师的指导下，让学生理解文章的脉络，抓住每一段的主题句以及细节，结合中国最新的电脑发展的成就“长河一号”以及美国利用探测器探测火星的视频, 使学生更深层次的理解文章的内涵和写作手法, 特别是题目的深刻含义。通过做题，训练学生掌握阅读理解题型中“推断题”的做题方法。通过写作，使学生掌握文章的写作方法，并且切实将学生的课堂学习落实到笔头，巩固课堂的学习效果，提高写作能力。

2）结合电脑的迅速发展，大胆猜测电脑将来在人们生活中的存在形式，并且对这样的存在形式做一个大胆的预测，从而更

深刻的体会电脑带给人类生活的利与弊，特别是对于它所带来的弊端，人类应该有一个清醒的认识，从而在我们的日常生活和工作中能够扬长避短，使电脑真正成为人类的好帮手和好朋友。

2．教学过程：

Step 1: Warming-up and leading in.

Watch a video about the introduction of “the supercomputer”. Have a test on the knowledge of computer. Step 2: Careful reading.

In this part, with the help of three topic sentences, we’ll learn the three paragraphs one by one. Try to make the students catch the key words and supporting details of each paragraph and some phrases.

Also try to make the students grasp the writing method of the whole text. And get them to understand the meaning of the title. After students understand the whole text , including the three paragraphs and the title, make them do an exercise in order to understand the text much better and more deeply ; also through this exercise , students can practise their reading comprehension ability.

Step3: Free talk.

Look back on the development of computers and have a brave prediction: what will be the next development? If it is true, what do you think will happen in the future? Make the students talk about the disadvantages of the computes.

Step 4: Homework.

With the help of writing method in the text, get the students to write a passage.
