一、教学内容:本课时主要学习单词giraffe ,geese ,swan。
二、教学目标
教学重点:能够灵活运用句型What are these? \ What are those ? 并能认读单词giraffe, swan。
教学难点:能够听说理解并区分goose和geese 创新点:通过看动物身体的部分图片或听动物的叫声,猜出动物单词。
空白点:鼓励学生细致观察动物的图片,比较相仿动物之间的不同之处,加以区别辨认。
德育点:通过开展生动有趣的教学活动,培养关心动物、热爱大自然的美好情操。
三、教学方法:
情境探究法;任务探究法;讨论法;
四、教具准备:自制多媒体课件、图片、单词卡片
五、教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up
1. Free talk between teacher and pupils. Good morning.
Glad to meet you. 2. Sing an English song《Old Macdonald has a zoo》
T: I heard Mr. Macdonald had a big and beautiful zoo. Do you want to see it? Come along, boys and girls. Let’s do and clap your hands together. Step 2: Revision
(卡片、课件展示)
T: There are so many animals. Look, what is this\ this? What are these\ those?(出现动物lion, monkey, elephants, pandas)
Ss: It’s a lion.
They are elephants…. T: Can you spell it\ them?
Ss: (one by one, two students, boys, girls or together ) Step 3: Presentation (A)T: I hear somebody is crying. What is this? Oh, it’s a duck. Little duck, what happened? (做出耳语状) He told me he can’t find his mother. Do you want to help him? Mr. Macdonald will give us some important information. (T扮唐老鸭): If you want to look for Mother duck. You must find out three kinds of animals first. They are giraffes, geese, swans.(配合这三个新授动物单词的简笔画) Let’s make a chant, Giraffes, geese, beautiful swans. Ss:
Giraffes, geese, beautiful swans.(three times) T: Come along, boys and girls. Let’s go. (B)出示长颈鹿的卡片
T: What are these? Ss: They are giraffes.(多次拼读单词) T: Can you talk about them?
Ss: They are tall. They have small ears. They have long neck. They have
a short tail. They have…
(课件去掉长颈鹿的脖子和腿,并混入较短的脖子和腿)
T: Where are the legs and necks? There are two necks, long neck and short neck? Do you remember giraffe’s neck? They have…
Ss: They have long necks. (同样的方式说出They have long legs.) T: You did it. There are some animals. Please talk about their long and short in your group. Ss: (小组活动)Elephants have long noses. Rabbits have short tail…. (C) Sing the chant again. (课件展示一种动物身体的一部分)
T: What are those? Guess? Ss: They are ducks. They are geese. They are swans. T: I want you to say some differences between geese and swans in Chinese. Ss: ….(检查学生课前预习资料)
T: So what are those?
Ss: They are swans. (多次拼读单词)
T: Look at their necks, they have…
T: Other guessing game. What are these? (同样展示动物的部分身体) And I know the answer, so you can ask me.
Ss: Are they …? T: Look , they have red hats. They are geese. (师生共同拼读单词)

(D)T: Where is Mother duck? Is she Mother duck? (课件呈现一只被遮住头部的鹅) T: No, she is a goose. (板书四会单词goose) One goose, two geese, three geese, four, One goose, two geese, honk, honk. (课件再次出现一只鸭子) T: Is she Mother duck? We find her. (板书四会单词duck) Little duck says“Thank you for your help.”
Step 4: Practice (A)T: Now, let’s read the text together. (课件出示课文并播放读音) Ss: 学生跟读。
T: Please read two more times. First by yourself carefully, second in roles with your partners. (B)课件播放动物的叫声
