Unit 1 She learnt English. 一、教材分析

本单元为外语教学与研究出版社出版小学英语三年级起点第六册Module 2 Unit 1.She learnt English.主要是让学生能用英语来询问过去所发生的事情以及他人过去和现在的状态。在教材处理上，本节课所学单词比较多，对于如何整合所学词汇，加以表述有一定的难度，因此，在教学中运用多媒体教学手段设置情境，从培养学生的兴趣着手，有效地把单词与句子相结合，注重听说训练，使语言点的训练密切联系生活实际，达到灵活运用的目的。

二、学情分析

五年级学生，学生的年龄大多为10-12岁，此年龄段的学生天真活泼，好奇心强，有极强的模仿能力和求知欲望。但这个阶段的学生经过一段时间的英语学习，学生与学生之间已经出现了两极分化。一些学生对英语有着较浓厚的学习兴趣，在课堂上积极发言，已经初步具有自学能力，明确学习英语的重要性，但也有少数学生由于英语底子较差等原因，对英语的学习兴趣慢慢降低。教师应紧紧抓住学生的这些特点，因势利导，循循善诱，使其在教师营造的浓厚的英语环境中大胆地学习和使用英语，以提高综合运用英语的能力。

三、教学目标

1.Knowledge aims

(1)Learn new words“dancer,learn-learnt,teach-taught,write-wrote”

(2)Learn some important sentences :Did your grandma learn English? Yes, she did./No, she didn’t.She learnt English. 2.Ability aims

(1)Students are able to describe the actions happened with the past tense correctly.

(2)Students are able to use past tense freely.

3.Emotion aims

(1)To foster students’consciousness of good cooperation and proper competition.

(2)To develop students’interest in English. 四、重点难点

（1）Students can understand the present continuous tense and the past tense correctly.

（2）To enable students to study in groups and cooperate skillfully. 五、教学过程

Step1.Warming up

1.Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. S: hello,Miss Zhou. 2.Let´s have a chant. 3.Game: teacher does actions and students guess what she did yesterday.(sang,danced,swam)

4.Review the past tense of some verbs.(go-went,eat-ate,watch-watched,do-did,walk-walked) Step2.Presentation Look at the picture,what´s she doing?(S:learn English) Show the word: learnt(Ss try to read,read in groups,read one by one,wtite on the desk,)play a game T:What did she do yesterday? Ss:She learnt English. Show my photo.T:what did she do last Monday? Ss:She taught languages.(learn “taught”)Play a game. Show the picture of a girl T:What did she do yesterday? Ss:She wrote a book. Learn “wrote”

and play a game. Show the picture of Yang Liping,ask:

T: what is she ? she is a dancer.(learn”dancer”) Step3.Listen to the tape and think about the questions. 1.What is Lingling´s grandma?

2. Did Lingling´s grandma learn English? 3. Did Lingling´s grandpa learn English? 4.What is he doing now? Listen again and circle the answers on your books. Listen the third time and repeat it. Read in groups and role play.

Step4.practice 1.Ask and answer then write. talk about in pairs and show the answers. 2.Make dialogues.”What did she/he do yesterday?”

Step5.Summury What´s the missing word?Let´s have a chant use the new words. Step6.Homework. 1.Listen and read the text. 2.Write down what you did yesterday. Do you like English? An old man love English and he is studying English hard now,Let´s watch the video.
