Lesson 10 Rain and Sun 一、教学目标：

通过学习本课的重点单词rain, sun, hot, snow, cold 以及重点句子，培养学生听、说、唱的能力，进一步提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性，树立乐观向上的学习态度。

二、教学重点：

单词：rain, sun, hot, snow, cold 教学准备：本课所需图片、单词卡、幻灯片等。

三、教学过程：

Step 1: Warming up 1.Greeting 2. Let’s chant

One one January Two two February Three three March

Four four April Five five May Six six June Seven seven

July Eight eight August Nine nine September Ten ten October

Eleven eleven November Twelve twelve December（以chant的形式复习数字和月份，培养学生兴趣，调动学生积极性，为后边歌曲教学做准备）。

Step 2: Presentation 1.

学习sun和hot I love Sundays.(边说边出示手中单词卡片)How to read it?学生读单词。

(折一下).Can you read this word?

引出Sun.

Look here,(板书书写和读，跟读，领读，升降调读，并出示纸质图片---太阳）

Look at my picture, What is this?(这时候可以强调the) This is the sun. How do you feel when you are under the sun? 引出hot. 通过肢体语言学习hot .How to spell it ? Show me your fingers. 2.

学习snow和cold 由hot引出cold.通过肢体语言学习cold。How to spell it?如何记忆比较容易呢？c + old = cold You know this word---no.添加s和w,变成snow,并给出字母S的发音，引导学生读。

This is snow.

snow, snow, snow！

(集体读，分组读，个人读，五遍)

What colour is the snow? White!

We can say: Snow is cold and white.

学习cloud和rain 出示cloud 和rain 的图片

T: What is this?

This is a cloud. / This is rain.

Do you see the cloud and rain?

(边说边出示手中图片，然后板书贴图，领读，跟读，升降调读) 4.

学习wind Look at me.(做一个吹的动作，把手上的花瓣吹掉)

Can you see the wind?

出示幻灯片,学习wind,我们怎么记忆这个单词呢？window –

ow = wind

Look at看某物

Step 3: Practice

1. 大小声游戏读单词

When I say a word loudly .you must say it quietly .When I say a word quietly you must say it loudly. 2. What is missing? Step 4: Sing a song 1.播放歌曲，先让学生听听这首歌是关于什么内容的。

（What’s the song about?）

2带领学生根据图上所画内容逐句讲解歌词大意。

3. Now please look at the picture and listen to the tape again.

4. 带领学生根据图片试唱歌曲

Step 5: Summing up T: Today we have learned some words. Can you say these words? (Show them the cards again.)

引导学生再次回顾本节课重点单词，检查学生的理解、掌握情况

Step 6: Homework 1. Remember seven new words: sun（太阳）, cloud（云）, rain（雨）, wind（风）,snow(雪) ,cold(冷的)and hot(热的). 2. Practice singing the song of this lesson after class.（课下练习唱本节课歌曲）.
