Lesson 12 A Visit to the Great Wall 一、教材分析

单元及课文分析

本单元的日常生活用语主要围绕“Travel in Beijing”这一话题展开。教材为学生提供了Li Ming , Mrs. Li , Jenny and Danny 一起游览北京的天安门广场，故宫和长城，并且到王府井购物这些场景。帮助学生理解并掌握外出游玩和观赏时常用的英语表达方式。结合本课重点内容，我们应给学生创设游览和介绍长城这一情境，通过本课重点问题导入引导学生一起进入本课的学习。

2、教学目标



语言知识与技能

(1)能听懂并读懂故事。

(2)朗读故事并在老师帮助下复述表演故事。



情感态度

(1)鼓励学生勇于尝试，尊重学生个性差异，让不同层次的学生从不同角度体验到英语学习成功的喜悦。

(2)了解景点知识的同时引导学生良好的文明行为习惯。



学习策略

通过创设情境并设疑来培养学生的阅读策略。

二、教学步骤

3、Now, I am a guide. Let’s climb the Great Wall. 设计思路：通过对北京名胜古迹图片的回顾激活学生的原有知识，给学生营造了一个轻松愉悦的学习氛围，调动学生的旅游兴趣，激发学生参与课堂活动的热情。

StepⅡ

Reading (35minutes) 1、Pre-reading: What do you know about the Great Wall? (板书long,big,beautiful,，领读，反复读，PPT出示长城图片。）

设计思路：激活学生对长城的原有认知，为读故事做好铺垫，并复习与故事课相

关的词汇。

2、While reading: ⅰRead these sentences in Picture1, rush to answer(抢答）:

①How do they go to the great wall?

设计思路：了解学生对课文第一部分的理解和掌握情况，指导学生边读边思考，在理解的基础上组织语言，初步掌握默读的阅读策略。

ⅱLet the students read part2 and part 3,and then students give the answers: ②What do we call the Great Wall in China? ③How old is the oldest part of the Great Wall?

(出示PPT) Talk about the meaning of the Ten-Thousands-Li Great Wall in the group. 设计思路：寻读。在学生阅读前给出针对性的问题，让学生目的明确地进行阅读。

设计思路：通过分角色朗读，检验学生对课文理解和掌握情况，看学生能否生动活泼地表现出各角色应有的感情和表情等，以此培养学生的阅读理解和朗诵能力。

3、Post reading: Read and judge

Mrs. Li,Jenny,Danny and Li Ming go to the Great Wall by car. The Great Wall is very long but not very old. Danny wants to write on the wall. We can draw pictures on the Great Wall. There is an old Chinese saying about the Great Wall. Jenny doesn’t like to visit the Great Wall. 设计思路：通过判断正误检测学生的掌握情况，正误所做的动作不同，进而激发学生的学习兴趣。

四、课后反思

本课教学目标达成度较好，学生在轻松愉悦的课堂氛围中进行学习，能激发学生学习英语的兴趣。本节课尊重学生的情感，营造出一种愉悦、宽松、平等、合作的课堂氛围，鼓励学生勇于尝试，让不同层次的学生从不同角度体验到英语学习成功的喜悦，同时引导学生良好的文明行为习惯。本课设计开放性的课后作业，有利于培养学生的语言学习兴趣，使教学满足不同层次学生的需要。

由于自己是一名年轻教师，在上课过程中稍显紧张，如果再放松一些会更好。

对学生的评价性语言再更有针对性些会更好。自己还有一些不足，欢迎各位老师批评指正。
