本课选自第四单元课文的第一部分，描述了Xiaoxiao和Qiaoqiao在家看电视时如何表达调整音量，午饭时间妈妈来询问吃什么午餐的事。本课是一节阅读课，在阅读中帮助学生理解语言，并通过练习运用语言，提高综合语言运用能力。

二、教学目标

1.知识目标：

学习并理解单词和短语：turn up、turn down、volume、a quarter
