Step 1 preparation

1 .Play a video Days of the week . What is the video about ?

It is about the days of a week .

How many days are there in a week ?

Seven.

What day is it today ?

At first let’s learn the seven days of a week . This activity can cheer students up and arouse their interest in learning the new words . Step 2 presentation&practice

Presentation 1 Learn new words . Show the class schedule to students,and lead students to learn the new words : This is Monday /Tuesday /Wednesday /Thursday /Friday

/Saturday/Sunday . Make sentences: we have math at 8:00 A.M on Monday .

We have art at 3:00 P.M ON Tuesday .

We are busy from Monday to Friday .but we are free on Saturday and Sunday . Brainstorm

Ask students the question: what ‘s your favorite subject ?why ? why not ? My favorite subject is art .because it is fun . This activity can review the descriptions have learned ,teach the new words and make Ss know the meanings of the word. Practice 1 Finish Section B 1a and 1b . Presentation 2
