Unit 5 There is a big bed

B Let’s learn 一．教学目标：

1.

能熟练掌握四会单词：

in front of, beside, between, above, behind;能掌握特殊疑问句“Where is ...”及回答，并能在情境中熟练运用该句型。

2.

培养学生合作的精神，提高他们学习英语的兴趣。

二．教学重难点

教学重点：

1. 能听说读写四会单词：

in front of, beside, between, above, behind 2.能掌握特殊疑问句“Where is ...”及回答，并能在情境中熟练运用该句型。

教学难点：熟练掌握五个方位介词的用法，特别是“in front of”。

三．教学工具：多媒体课件，录音机，单词卡片。

四．教学过程：

Step 1. Warm up 1.

Greeting T: Good morning/afternoon, boys and girl! Ss: Good morning/afternoon, Miss Zhao! T: How are you today? Ss: I’m fine, thank you! And you? T: I’m fine, too. Please sit down.

2.

教师播放第五单元的英文歌曲”A photo of me”的录音，师生一起大声歌唱。

Step 2. Review 教师出示一幅房间的布置图片，要求学生用“There is...”句型来描述房间的布置。

Step 3. Presentation 1.

Lead in 教师出示一张小狗的图片，问: What’s this? 学生回答: It’s a dog. 同样再出示一张球的图片。

In front of 多媒体出示图片

，出示问题：Where is the ball? 引导学生回答: It’s in front of the dog. 多媒体出示in front of短语，教师带读学生跟读。播放单词录音，学生再次跟读。

beside, between, above, behind. 用以上同样的方法教授新单词: beside, between, above, behind. (3) Fill in the blank: 多媒体出示一只猫与一本书的位置关系，学生运用所学方位介词正确地填空。

学生小组合作，用所学知识描述物体所在的位置。

Find and say.

(1)出示教学挂图，让学生观察图片。再出示例句：

There is a tree in front of the house.

(2) 学生小同桌合作，用所学知识描述图片，例如：

There is a cat behind the door. (3) 教师请3个学生进行汇报并总结。

Step 4. Consolidation Game: 按我说的做。

教师邀请5位同学来讲台并发指令，如“Stand behind the chair.”，学生根据指令站到自己的椅子后面。（注意：教师发指令时要穿插使用方位介词）。采取淘汰制，最后全部正确的学生获得奖励。

Step 5. Summary 教师问：同学们，这节课你们学到了什么？

引导学生回顾本课时的内容。
