To develop the quality of thinking. 5. To be interested in animals and love animals. Key points and difficult points: 1.Help students understand rhyme and features of the poems 2. Lay enough foundation for students’ writing.

Teaching steps: Step1. Enjoy a song 1. Find some special words they rhyme. 2. Listen and find the missing words. Step2. Enjoy the beauty of rhythm 1.Ask the students to read the two poems. 2. Help them know the functions of rhymes. Step3. Enjoy the beauty of wording and writing features 1. Help them learn the key words and phrases: hunt, do wonderful tricks, with eyes open wide, build me camps out of sticks

2. Ask some questions about my goldfish to make them master the important word: trouble. Step4. Enjoy my poems 1.Fill in the blanks. 2.Enjoy Chinese poems. Step5. Share your poems. Students share some of their poems in different ways. Step6. Homework 1. Read the two poems loudly and emotionally. 2. Create and improve your own poems. 3. Show your poems in the English corner of your class.
