free, cool, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday , A.M., P.M 2) Learn about the difference between week and date. 3) Review the target language about students’ favourite subject and talk about their reasons. 2.Ability aim: Students can improve their listening skills and find out the key information through listening practice 3.Emotional aim: The topic is about my favourite subject and David’s schedule. The content is close to students’ daily life, so it is easy to arise their learning interests. Besides, they can learn about the difference between Chinese and Western culture. What’s more, students can develop a good relation with their classmates by talking about their favourite subject. It can also develop students’ spirits of cooperation by pair work. Student in grade 7 have been learning English for more than 4 years.They have learned many English words and sentences.They like competitions and learning in group in a relaxed atmosphere. Besides,they already have the basic ability of autonomous learning . Ⅳ.Teaching Method:Interest teaching method, TBLT, CLT

Ⅴ.Learning Method:The new curriculum emphasizes that education must be based on the development of students and must take the students as the center and adopt the diversified learning style. Let the students study independently.

Step 1.Review &Leading in

1)By showing some pictures, review some words about subject, week,and

descriptions. 2)Let students practice conversations about their favourite subjects in

groups according to the pictures on PPT.

2.Pre-listening

1)Finish 1a. And check the answers together. 2)Look at the chart in 1c. Learn about some information about the listening material before listening. 3.While-listening 1)Finish the listening in 1b.Then check the answers together.

2)Listen again, and finish 1c:Circle the classes David talks about on the schedules. Then check the answers together. 4.Post-listening 1) Finish 1d . 2) Group work: According to the conversation in 1d, practice the conversation with partners about your favourite subject. 5.Homework Write a short passage about your favourite food,book,season and so on. Then talk it with your partner and make a presentation in next class. Ⅷ. Reflection: The content of this lesson is close to students’ life so they are active in class. They have a lot of things to say about this topic. The topic and the target language are easy for them, so they don’t need to worry about making mistakes. They are confident enough to express their own idea about the topic. Therefore, the atmosphere of class is very relaxing and active.

However, during students’ presentation, there are some problems in students’ pronunciation. In future, it is necessary for them to improve it. And students should be given more chances to practice their spoken English.
