本课出现了多个外国人名、专有名词等，对应的中文学生都已熟悉，但英文读起来还有难度，人名和书名的拼写不要求学生掌握，能认读即可。

学情分析：

六年级学生已经有了一定的英语学习基础，学生们可以就短篇故事进行阅读。本单元的话题可以让学生们在阅读国外名著中，感受英语的魅力，了解到西方的文化。

本单元的教学内容是《牛津英语》6B第四模块第十单元Great storybooks。本课专有名词多，三位伟大的作家和他们的经典童书，还有许多闻名世界的故事。学生兴趣浓，求知欲强，教学效果好。这节课有较长的语篇，我设计问题让孩子们在阅读中自己寻找答案，孩子们有非常强烈的成就感，他们的阅读能力已经让我刮目相看。通过同桌操练，小组讨论的方式，让学生听听说说、问问答答，不断加深对课文内容的理解，提高他们的英语口头表达能力。

本节课，大部分学生能认读人名、书名和故事名字，但根据课文内容回答问题时，有的学生不能灵活运用，不敢用英语表达。

改进措施：

1. 下节课前五分钟复习本课所学专有名词。

2. 给学生更多时间多听、多读和多练。
