They were young. 一、教学目标: (一) 语言知识目标:

1、能听、说、读、写wasn’=was nott, weren’t=were not, clean,dirty. 2、掌握句型：主语+was/wasn’t+形容词+then.. 主语+is、isn’t+形容词+now. 主语+were/weren’t+形容词+then.. 主语+are/aren’tt+形容词+now.

3、能介绍人物的现在和过去的特征。。

能够利用照片介绍自己过去和现在的不同。

在小组活动中能与其他同学积极配合和合作

二、教学重点、难点：

（一）、重点：

词汇：wasn’=was nott, weren’t=were not, clean,dirty.

句型：主语+was/wasn’t+形容词+then.. 主语+is、isn’t+形容词+now. 主语+were/weren’t+形容词+then.. 主语+are/aren’tt+形容词+now。

（二）、难点：

1、使用

“was” “wasn’t” “were”“weren’t”描述过去和现在人物变化。

2、“wasn’t” “weren’t”的正确发音。

Watch the video in Activity 1. Then read it . Pay attention to wasn’t.

Talk about the pictures of grandparents’. 1) show a picture of grandparents. T: Look at the screen, who are they? Can you guess?

Ss: They’re grandparents. T: Are they old? Ss: Yes,they are old. T: Yes. You are right.

show another picture of grandparents. T: Look at grandparents again.

Were they old?

Ss: No. They were young. T: Yes.They were young. They weren’t old then.

(teach weren’t= were not)

Talk about the other two pictures.

Show the pictures in Activity 3 one by one, get students to retell the differences.
