Teaching goals:

1、To make Ss master sentence Where is ... and positional phrases. 2、To know how to find missing thing and play hide and seek. Teaching point：To master sentence Where is ... and positional phrases. Teaching difficulty：To apply the sentence and phrases to daily life. Teaching aids: A pen, a book, a tennis ball and a toy car. Teaching procedure: 1、Warm-up/Revision （1）Let’s chant

Where is the toy car ? Is it in your desk ? Where is the toy car ?Oh, it’s on tour chair ! （2）Play the recording of the chant and the whole class chant together. 2、Pre-reading (1) Read the story by your self and underline the unknown words or sentences. Seek help from your partner or teacher.

(2) Within group, one student read and the other translate. (3) Listen to the tape and follow. Try to imitate the dialogue. 3、Presentation

（1）Present hide and seek, ready , table, bed, find, behind. Read these words together and then do it one by one. (2) Get the Ss recall how to play hide and seek. Show the picture one by one on the PPT. Groups compete to translate the story: G1: Let’s play hide and seek GX: 让我们玩捉迷藏吧。... One student reads and the other student stand up to translate it as fast as possible. Correct the mistake as soon as it appears. (3) Invite some groups to role-play the story. Ss can rewrite the story. See which group perform best. (4) Guessing game: One student blindfolds and keeps asking questions while the other gives tips to help the former one find the missing things. 4、Homework Read the story to your family.
