Step 1. Leading-in (2 mins) 1.

Step 2. While-task (10 mins) 1. Call out some students to check the answers to Ex1 and Ex2 of Discovering Useful Words And Expressions on P32. 2. Let the students try to finish Ex3 of Using Words And Expressions on P32 in pairs. Ask them to discuss about the difference of the words. 3. Divide the whole class into boys and girls group and try to see which group can finish the sentences first. 4. Check the answers. Purpose:

1. To enable the students to master some new words and expressions. 2. To encourage the students to use the words in sentences. Step 3 Post-task (22 mins) 1.

First ask the students to find out the examples of the past participle as the adverbial in the play. (2)
