Did you go to Beijing? What do you know about Beijing? Can you tell

me? S: ……. T: big city, capital city, many interesting places（幻灯片3—5显示北京著名旅游景点）Tian` anmen Square、Palace Museum、Great Wall、Water Cube、Bird`s Nest. Let some students read the famous places names. Step 2 New concepts 1.

Now let us learn some new words about this lesson.Writing “people、

many、

child、

women、

men”on the blackboard.Point to these new words and say them twice.Ask students to repeat after me. 2.

Display slide 6，Talk about what they see in the pictures.Find out what the student can tell me about what`s happening in the pictures. 3.

Display slide 7，Ask students to look at the pictures.Then answer what are they doing?Next ask one student to read these phrasal Verbs and others just follow him（her）. 4.

Display slide 8—13，Ask students to look at the pictures.Then say,who are they and what are they doing?Let some students answer the questions.Then show the sentences related to the pictures in English.Ask students to read these sentences.
