知识目标：单词：能听、说、读、写leaf, plant, garden, grow等词汇。

能听、说、认读seed, stem, root, sprout, seedling等词汇。

句型：能听、说、读、认并且灵活运用Look at the plant, it has …

There are many plants in my garden. They have small green leaves.

The plants grow and grow.等句型来描绘植物的各个部分和生长过程。

能力目标：能在语境中正确运用本单元的核心词汇，能用已学句型来介绍植物外形和生长过程。

情感目标：把本节课内容与环保主题融合，让学生了解塑料垃圾的危害，提高学生的环保意识；课后让学生利用塑料瓶制作盆栽，培养学生的动手能力，并把英语课程与科学学科联系起来，做到学科之间的融合；让学生观察植物的生长并做记录，培养学生细心观察事物的习惯。

重点：词汇：leaf, plant, garden, grow

句型：It has small green leaves.

There are many plants in my garden.

They have small green leaves.

The plants grow and grow.

难点：灵活地运用句型来描述植物，

能用已学句型来介绍植物外形和生长过程。

2. To complete task 1：Discuss in your groups, write down the parts of the plant and try to describe each part with the words in word bank.

3. Study how a plant grows.

Learn the growth of a plant:

4. To complete task 2：Discuss in your groups, put the pictures in correct order and try to name them.

5. Present pictures of plastic pollution in order to let the students think about the solutions. Lead in the concept of environmental protection. ReduceReuseRecycle

6. To introduce task 3 and let the students finish it after class in the following month.

学习植物各个部分的名称，

掌握四会词汇的基础上，拓展植物其他部分的名称词汇。

小组讨论，写出植物每一部分的名称，然后试着用词库里的单词来描述每一部分。让学生用所学的词汇和句型描述植物的各个部分。

了解植物的生长过程。

小组讨论，把下列图片按照正确的顺序排好并试着写出它们的名字。

培养学生的观察能力和逻辑思维能力。

呈现塑料污染，启发学生

思考如何解决这一污染现象。

引出环保理念：

用塑料瓶种一盆盆栽植物并做好观察记录，用照片和文字描述植物的生长过程你和的感受。
