本课的教学内容为5BM3U3 Changes的第一课时的内容，话题为My new furniture. 教学重点是先通过家具的介绍，引出不同房间需要不通的家具，进而进行my new furniture的话题教学。在此过程中，掌握单词：furniture, cupboard, bookshelf, cushion, lamp. 认知单词：bedstand. 掌握句型：there is/ are… I can put … in/ on …

用三段文本来描述各个房间的不同家具，难点是激发学生思维，让学生能够尽可能的调动知识储备来描述家具的不同功用。通过对我的新家的拜访和Alice家的练习，学会描述自己的房间，并进一步认识家具给自己带来的好处。在课的设计中，主要从以下几个方面着手设计：

1. 基于教材文本再构

本课时以4个房间为主线：卧室，主要解决大部分生词，了解家具的基本功能。客厅，解决cushion这个生词，并在此基础上，加入个人情感与需要，提升家具的作用。书房，利用一个空书房，让学生自由的讨论需要的家具与这些家具的功能。创设情景，将前面所学做初步的反馈。餐厅，直接放手让学生来说，从半放到全放，锻炼学生的能力。之后再将浏览全过程做一个整合，让学生在此复习整洁可所学。最后通过练习，让学生在听、说、读、写的基础上进一步巩固所学。

2. 运用媒体创设课堂情景

通过图片与问题的结合，引导学生思考，并尽可能多的运用所学来表达自己想要表达的东西。

3. 关注学生发散思维的训练

单词方面：每一个新词在教授的过程中，都从功能或表象来进行思维的发散。并通过各种不通的操练形式，来发散学生在单词应用方面的能力。

文本方面：各房间的教学都有整合文本，从扶到放。希望学生能在设计的文本下，调动尽可能多的话语来描述家具，了解家具的作用。
