Students are familiar with teachers, and they play an important role in students’

study. So I choose this topic,，which could be easier for the students to talk about. In this way, the students will be active in class-activities, in which they could get a good platform to form the good habit of speaking English. Besides, my teaching idea is closely based on the reading strategy. Skimming, scanning, and careful reading is a good system of practicing reading. In this way, students could improve their ability of reading effectively.

2.学情分析

My students are senior high freshman. They are still not familiar with the school, as well as me. They don’t like to express their idea in class, so I am trying my best to create as many opportunities as possible for them to talk. After all, speaking is a good way for the students to improve English.

PPT and learning plan are useful for our students. PPT could provide a large amount of information and learning plan could help the students have a good preview before class.

能力目标：To cultivate the students’ language competence and language intuition.

情感目标：To make the students learn to appreciate their teacher’s hard work.
