教材分析

本单元以Inventors and inventions为话题，旨在通过单元教学，使学生能灵活运用本单元的重点词汇和基础句型描述中外古代和现代发明，谈论不同发明的优缺点及其现实意义；并能运用所学知识利用现实生活中有限材料进行发明创造。

学情分析

1. 教学对象为高二学生。经过了高一整个学年的学习积累，这阶段的学生掌握了一定程度的词汇以及语法知识，对本单元知识的掌握应该不会存在太大的问题。
