Teaching objectives Make students improve their abilities to learn about and master the present perfect continuous tense through understanding some sentences and doing some grammar exercises.

Teaching importance or difficulty 1.

The teacher helps students to learn the difference between present perfect continuous tense and present perfect tense .

The teacher inspires students to do some tense exercises including filling in some blanks and translation work.

Teaching Procedures : 1. Students read some sentences and the teacher explains the usages of the present perfect continuous tense

Students read more sentences to tell the differences between the present perfect tense and the present perfect continuous tense with the teacher’s help . ( 4 minutes ) 3.

The teacher gives some examples to make students understand the

usages of the tense better.

Students do more exercises to master the tense , which include some filling in blanks and translation exercises . ( 22 minutes ) 1.
