Step I Warming Up

Show a short video to draw students’ attention. Talk about the bad habits in daily life with the students, and discuss how to get rid of those bad habits. Step Ⅱ Reading

Task 1: Skimming and Scanning

T: Now read the passage and grasp the main idea of each paragraph.

Task 3: After-reading questions

T: Now we have known the general idea and the structure of the whole passage. Next read the passage again and try to fill in the black on the ppt.

Task 4: Comprehending questions

T: In order to understand the passage better, let’s answer more questions . Sample questions: 1.We can know that__ from P1.
