一、学情分析：

高一的学生经过初中的学习和中考的选拔已经掌握了一些基本的英语知识和学习方法。但是学生普遍存在一种口语薄弱，不会用英语完整地表达自己想法的情况，甚至有的学生根本不会张口说英语。在新课标和社会大环境的要求下，用英语听、说这样的基本技能对于学生来说很重要。本课通过铺垫、引导、积累等方式鼓励学生听懂、说清楚所涉及到的英文。

二、教材分析：

本课为外研版英语必修一第四模块的内容，话题为所居住的环境，本话题与学生的生活关系密切，是他们所熟悉的事物，难度不大。让学生仿照书中呈现的一些例子来描述自己的居住环境，他们的积极性就会很浓。教材通过对话对厦门进行了较为全面的介绍，不仅让学生了解了这个美丽的海滨城市，还能用厦门大学做为高考的目标来激励学生，从而达成情感态度目标。

三、设计思路：

我将本课设计为一节听说课，旨在训练学生的听、说能力。在第一节课的词汇铺垫和本节课图片的辅助下，首先进行学生的听力训练。通过“一听”，我设计了三个小题让学生理解对话的主旨大意；通过“二听”，我设计了一个表格，让学生对厦门的基本情况有所了解，对于如何描述一个城市一目了然。听力过后，就已经给学生“输入”了一些基本信息，然后进行信息的“输出”，也就是通过后面的三个情境的设置来考察学生的掌握情况和口语训练。

四、教学内容：

Please check the table together and say something about Xiamen.

I like to live in the country, because…. Read the words aloud and get to know the Chinese meanings of the words with the help of the words.

Check and compete with groups. If they know the answers, they should stand up quickly and they will score for the team.
