一 .内容简析
Children of our world 是外研版六年级上册Unit6的教学内容,本课是围绕介绍
来自世界各地的孩子的学习、生活状况
理想及珍贵的事物这个题材展开的。虽然我们在前几册
Join in 课文中已接触了较多的如何用英语进行自我介绍、描述身边的朋友的方法,但本课包含了较多的新知识,能达到较好地培养学生灵活运用所学英语进行交流的目标。因此如何用英语展开讨论、介绍自己、
认识朋友便成为本节课的主要任务.

教学目标 1. 能阅读有关介绍世界各国小朋友学习、
生活状况的英语短文,
能运用新学的知识用较丰富的语言,来介绍自己或朋友。
2. 通过课堂活动,完成听、说、读、写的技能训练,学生通过感知、实践、合作
自然地习得语言,
提升语言实践运用能力。
3.通过本节课让学生更好地了解世界各地的小朋友,从我做起,热爱和平,共同为实现
One world, one dream .而努力。
三.教学重点和难点
1. 听懂外研版
Unit 6 Part 4a的文本内容,能运用新学的知识用新学的知识用较
丰富的语言,来介绍自己或朋友。
2. 通过听、说、读、写的训练,培养学生语言表达的综合运用能力。
四.方法阐释
本课主要通过任务型教学法,指导学生进行较长文本的阅读。让学生通过游戏、合作交流等方式,轻松地掌握阅读中的关键内容。

教学过程
Step 1. Warming up 1.Greetings . I'm Ms Fan.first this group. (设计意图:简单亲切的问候及自我介绍,可以拉近师生的距离,营造轻松愉快的教学氛围。)
2.Pre-reading Ask and answer T: I can introduce myself , can you introduce yourself? I am Ms Fan . I 'm from China . I get up at six o’clock I go to school by bike. I often listen to music.
S1:I am Tom. I 'm from China . I get up at seven o’clock I go to school on foot. I often play football. S2:....... (设计意图:通过让学生自我介绍,发散学生思维,唤起学生已有的知识经验,在情感交流中了解学生对知识的掌握,为后面的预设阅读问题做好铺垫。) Step2.While-reading 课件出示一幅有四位学生及珍贵物品的图片,问学生看到什么,想到什么?会提些什么问题?如Who are they? How old is he/she? Where……? When……?what……? T: Look at the pictures ,Have you got any question? S: Who are they? S: How old are they? S: Where are they from? S: When do they get up? What 's their precious things? (设计意图:这个环节通过让学生设计特殊疑问句,激发学生学习的积极性,主动参与学习与讨论。进一步培养学生自主学习的能力。)
Step 3. Listen and find. 学生打开课本,听录音,找出四个孩子的名字,年龄,来自哪里,初步感知课文。

初步感知课文,可以更好地拉动学生的内驱力。)
Step 4. Learn passage 1 and passage 2 1、课件展示以下练习,学生阅读第一部分,教师讲解第一部分完成练习. 1.

Step 6.Personal show 通过猜谜的游戏让学生能理解每段文本所描述的不同孩子的特征,并将图片与相应的文本配对,用PPT黑板上的重点词句来归纳每位孩子的不同特点,学生谈论四个小朋友。

Step 7.Homework Listen and read the texts of 4a. 1.Introduce and classmates by yourself in English. 2.Write a paragraph about daily life and most students like physical passage. (设计意图:分层次的练习可以巩固学生输入的语言,也为语言的输出搭建了时间和空间广阔的平台)
