I. Warming up

1. Greetings.

T: Hello, boys and girls. How are Greeting to each other. you? Ss: Fine, thank you.

T: Let’s review the phrases we have

learnt. Can you read?

Ss: Yes, I can.

T: Great. Now let’s play a game. I say and you do.

Step2 (15分)

2. Let’s say a chant together.(What are they doing?) Xiao Hui is doing homework, Li Ming is having breakfast.……

II. Presentation 1.

T: The animals are cleaning

in the zoo. Let’s go and see .

what are they doing? 2.

T: Look at the giraffe. What is he doing? Then teach the new phrase: clean the window. To practice the phrase in different ways. Then join the sentence: I’m cleaning the window. Ask the Ss to read the sentence one by one. 3.

Learn the others phrases in the same way .Teacher sweeps the floor in the classroom and say:“I’m sweeping the floor”three times. Then ask Ss do the action and understand the sentence. At last I play two videos that one mother is doing the dishes and the other is washing clothes .Let them1understand11the11phrasesprofoundly.

Practice the sentence by asking and answering. One student does the action casually. The teacher asks: What are you doing? Then he/she answers: I’m ……

Creating the situations to learn the dialogue:“Jimmy wants to play with others, But they can’t play with him. What are they doing?”Then listen to the tape recorder and answer the questions. Q1: What’s Jimmy’s father doing? Q2: What’s Jimmy’s mother doing?

Then listen to the tape recorder dialogue in roles. 6.

Do the part of “play and say”.

Take out some cards. Ask one student to come here and choose one card. Then say the sentence quickly.
