Analysis of the teaching material:The topic of Unit 2 is family members .Students learned part A and part B and mastered the key words and sentences of this unit .Story time part aims to let students use them in real situation or daily life .In the story ,there are two new words actress and beautiful . Analysis of the students :Students in Grade 3 have already learned English for half a year .They are active and love to sing ,play games .But the rural students don't use English frequently after class.So teacher should try to let students open their mouths and be willing to speak English out . Teaching aims : 1.

Knowledge aim: Be able to listen ,read ,and say the words :actress and beautiful .and sentences: Who’s that man /woman? He’s/She’s ..... 2.

2. Ability aim : Can use the above sentences in real situation. 3.

Emotional aim : Love our family .East or west ,home is the best . 4.
