本节课是语篇教学，讲述的主要内容是关于澳大利亚的情况。课文内容丰富，学生的兴趣很浓。本节课的重难点是一般将来时：will和其（缩写形式）’ll句型的正确使用。

因此，一开始我就用be going to…的句型自然而然地引出新句型will和’ll的用法。孩子们很容易的就明白了will的含义。接着我趁热打铁让孩子们计划自己的周末，学生用will的句型进行操练，孩子们的参与度很高都很乐意告诉自己的搭档关于自己的周末计划。在展示环节，部分学生的讲述非常精彩。随后我借助PPT课件在Mr Green’s country 的环节中，让孩子们观看了精彩的图片，孩子们十分投入地倾听了配音，并且以浓厚的兴趣学习了本课的重难点词语：sport-lover, welcome visitors, an exciting Australian football game, kangaroos, koalas, Sydney…。本环节，孩子们学习英语的积极性得到了极大地提高，充满了学习的欲望。在让孩子们观看Liu Tao 和同学之间的对话之后

，孩子们踊跃地发言积极参与到配对环节中，再次操练了will句型，从而能达到熟练掌握新句型。接着Read and write环节，孩子们感受了澳大利亚的风土人情，从而能十分投入地阅读，自主完成Liu Tao的笔记。轻松地掌握了本课的重点词汇。

最后的巩固环节同学们跟自己的搭档谈论自己的祖国，不但让孩子们复习巩固了本课的重点内容，提高了学生语言的综合运用能力，也培养了孩子们的爱国热情，孩子们的名族自豪感得到了极大地提高，从而将这节课画上了一个完美的句号。
