单元分析：

本单元围绕“行路安全”这一话题，呈现了若干行路规则和安全知识，旨在引导学生树立正确过马路的安全知识。这一话题与学生的生活紧密相关，通过如何过马路的行为指南及车辆的行驶规则，重点呈现了情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t的用法，在教学过程中我们应联系生活实际，鼓励学生认识更多交通标识，掌握安全知识，做遵守交通规则的社会公民。

学情分析：

“行路安全”这一话题贴合学生的生活实际，也是非常重要的一个内容。学生对过马路的交通规则、红绿等的具体含义以及车辆的行驶规则已有一定的知识经验基础。

本课所重点学习的情态动词must及其否定形式mustn’t可以结合六年级上册的Unit5，Unit6，Unit7中的can\should等情态动词来进行关于规定和规则的表达。

教学目标：

1、在情景中整体理解Story time的内容。

2、在 Story time 的学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的新词 road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, follow，体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法，并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

3、能用正确的语音语调朗读Story time。

4、能理解道路安全知识，尝试用英语说说道路交通规则。

5、能牢记过马路的交通规则，树立安全意识。

教学重点：

1、能理解道路安全知识，尝试用英语说说道路交通规则。

2、在 Story time 的学习过程中掌握有关道路交通方面的新词 road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, follow，must，safety，safely。

教学难点：

1、体会情态动词must及其否定must not 的用法，并能简单区分形容词safe,名词safety及副词safely的不同。

2、能牢记过马路的交通规则，树立安全意识。

教学过程：

Step 1 Warming up

1、首先课前准备好word bank单词有关road safety的（pedestrian，safer，rail）

2、课前歌曲：stop，look , listen.

3、Show you a few wonderful roads in Wuxi. let’s enjoy. Do you want to go to Meicun high school? And I think you should work harder and harder. First, it is zhongshan road. 在欣赏梅育路时：so when you go to school every morning and go home every evening, there are always a lot of motor vehicles. So the road is so busy. a busy road, many busy roads 再句子引出busy一词。学习：拥挤的，不是忙碌的繁忙的。

4、There are many busy roads in the city. How can you cross them safely? 学习：cross, safely（副词）

3、Look carefully; do you see any lights on the road? This kind of traffic lights is for motor vehicles.进行匹配，知道三种红绿灯的意思。

6、So let’s look at the first part. 缺词填空，提示孩子图片是非常有用的，他们能帮助你们更好的更容易的理解课文。（书上的小tip相对应）

接着齐读part1

7、根据part1内容设计一个小chant。

8、通过动图演示part1过渡到part2，让生自读part2并且判断三句句子，圈出一些关键词会帮助他们。

判断结束，进行ticking time

9、Look and fill 直接进入第三段，自己看图填空，进行ticking time。

最后引出中心句，跟读并知道意思。

齐读part2、3

Step 3 Practice&Consolidation 1、完成反面书后练习。

2、Let’s have a rest and enjoy a clip of film

Do you like watch films? Here comes Mu Lan’s grandma. What will she do? 根据给出的对话，四人一小组，教老奶奶过马路，编对话。

3、进行ticking time。

4、Know different rules around us. Know the rules and follow the rules. And live a happier life. 最后情感升华。

Step 4 Homework 布置回家作业。

1、Read the story again by yourself. Try to retell it in your own words. 2、List out what you must do and must not do. Make it into a poster. 选做题：
