Unit6 In a nature park 一: Analyzing the students

Students in grade 5 have been learning English for

two years, so they achieved certain ability of listening,

speaking, reading and writing. "there be " is difficult

points in the whole primary school English, although the

students contact with the general questions ,but they

can not grasp the usage of "there be ", and have some

difficulties in writing, they need to further study in

this course . In order to break through the key points and

difficult points ,according to the characteristics of

students in grade five. I mainly use multimedia and

object to present materials, stimulate the students'

learning interest and thirst for knowledge, I adopt the

situational approach and the task-based language

teaching approach. In teacher's guidance, the students adopt the way

of perception, experience and practice, participation

and cooperation to improve language practical usage

capability.

二．Analyzing the materials

This lesson is a dialogue that is around a photos ,aims to consolidate the question type of "there be " Through reading the dialogue, students can review the vocabulary and singular form of "There be "then put to use in the real situation. "There be "pattern is very important in the whole primary English ,it will provide foundation for the plural form of" there be ",thus it can be seen ,the lesson is a connecting link between the preceding and the following. 三 Teaching objectives 1 knowledge objective : students have to grasp five new words _tree ,village , house ,bridge, building and one sentence-Are there any lakes on the mountain ? Yse, there is one/ No, there aren’t

2 Abilities objective:Throwing Audio –visual method ,students can understand the sentence and new words better and throwing discussion in their group to improve their English spoken and cooperation . 3 Emotion objective :this class will help students to cultivate students awareness of love and protect nature 四 Teaching keys and Difficulties

On account of the analysis of students ,the important and difficulties are two new words

Let students to learn the new words___tree Activities2 : Fist games, if I hold my fist boys read the words ,if I put my hand girls read the words, Throwing this way ,I will help students to learn the new words__ bridge. Activities3：how many fingers I show them and how many times they should read it, let student learn the new words __building
