Step 1: Warm-up 1.Sing a song: 《Colored animals》
2.Free-talk:
T: How’s the weather today?
It’s a sunny day?
Step 2: Lead-in T: 1.It’s a sunny day. Two butterflies are reading outside.
2. So, what can they see in the book ? (listen the story)
Step 3:While-reading 1.
Answer the question: What can they see in the book? 2.
T and Ss talk about more details of the story. Picture ①
T: What can they see in the book? Ss: They can see snakes. (boys & girls) Picture ②
T: Is it red?
S:No,it isn’t.It’s green.
T: Is it blue?
S:No,it isn’t.It’s brown.
T:Yes,they are in different colors. Picture ③
T: Can you see a snake? ( show the sructure of this sentence)
Ss:Yes,I can see a green snake. Picture ④
T: What color is the snake there?
Ss: It’s a brown snake. Picture ⑤
T:Can baby butterfly see the snake?
Ss: Yes,it can.
