Unit1 What’s he like?

第 4 课时

1. 借助图片，能听、说、认读描述人物性格的单词polite, shy, helpful, clever, hard-working，并巩固复习学过的词汇；

2. 恰当运用What’s he like? He is hard-working. 展开对话，并能做出适当回答。

3. 规范书写所学词汇和句型，注意大小写和标点符号。

在句型中，What’s he like?和He is...中单数he, she和复数they以及系动词is, are的搭配将是学生在口语中容易出错的地方。

2.对于后进生，先鼓励他们用单数操练，对复数形式不做硬性要求。

听Unit1 B Let’s learn录音并跟读，圈出不会读的词。

教学过程：

一、督预示标

1. 用角色扮演的形式，在情境中利用所学词汇自创对话

2. 要求学生书写新授词汇3遍，并在书写过程中观察学生书写情况，及时提醒学生注意大小写和标点符号。

二、自学梳理

Show the words and pictures, students try to read. 导入：guessing game Who is he? What’s he like?

Show the picture of Yi Xiu monk. And learn the

word: clever 三、小组答疑

通过Guessing game导入新词： hard-working shy helpful.

Prepare some pictures to explain “shy” or polite

1. Listen and read the words and the short talk. 2. Make a sentence with these words in pairs.(group competition)

四、展示评价

Match and say: Can you say a sentence to describe the pictures? What’s he/she like? He/she is polite.(shy hard-working clever helpful) 五、联系拓展

1. Listen and circle Miss Chen is a maths/science teacher. Mr Gray is a music/Chinese teacher. 2. Listen again and answer What’s Miss Chen like? What’s Mr Gray like?

Write the answers on the book. 3. Copy the new words and sentences on the notebook.

六、总结导预

Watch the blackboard, invite some students to sum up

the main ideas of this period.
