Ⅰ教学背景分析

（一）教材分析

本节课是牛津高中英语模块四第二单元Sports events的Reading第一课时。此阅读材料是介绍奥运会的一篇演讲。文章结构脉络清晰，一共分为四个部分。第一部分主要是Mr. Johnson 演讲开始的问候；第二部分主要是古代奥运会和现代奥运会的对比；第三部分主要是介绍奥运会的著名运动员；第四部分主要是演讲总结。

学生对于奥运会话题具有浓厚的学习兴趣。

2. 学生对奥运会的历史没有太多了解。

ⅤI设计思路

词汇复习课贯穿一个核心思想，从词到句到篇，让学生在语境中完成对词汇用法的复习。首先让学生对整个单元的单词进行不同方式的知识唤起，加深学生对本单元词汇的识记。设计三个旅行地，让学生在语境中完成对重点词汇的掌握。在三个情景教学之后，学生已经有了大量的知识输入，如果学生在对单词用法掌握之后不加以利用，学生对这些用法也会很快遗忘。这时教师要求学生写一封邮件为Toby推荐旅游地，将所学的知识进行输出，这样才起到了本课时单词复习的最终目的。
