教学目标：

学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本句型结构：

通过学习，学生能做到遵守交通规则。

教学重难点：

要求掌握的四会词语tired, stop, wait, afraid 和特殊疑问句的用法。

学生能正确了解和使用祈使句。

教具学具：PPT演示文稿，教学课件，单词卡片

教学过程：

Step I: Class opening and review 1.

Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, teacher. 2.

Review. 通过出示图片，复习已学过的Tian’anmen Square和The Palace Museum的相关内容。

T: Look at this picture. Where is it? Ss: It’s Tian’anmen Square. T: Yes, it is. Can you say something about it? Ss: Step II: New concepts. 1.

Lead-in 由刚才复习的内容，自然过渡到今天所学的The Great Wall. 老师创设情境，作为一名导游，带领着学生们游长城。

New concepts. 出示长城的图片。

T：Wow, it’s so long. How long is it? Ss: It’s about 6000 kilometres. T: How old is it? Ss: It’s about 2000 years old. 通过提问，学习新知识How old和How long. (学生反复练习这两个问句）

T：I’m tired and hungry now. Are you tired,too? T: Let’s go back to the hotel to have a rest. Follow me! Oh, where is Danny? Danny is lost. Do you see Danny? Ok, let’s listen to the video to see where Danny is. 播放视频。出示图片，让学生自己发现Danny，并引导学生自己描述图片。

T：Danny is afraid now. Can you help him? (让学生自己通过课文内容，来帮助Danny过马路）

老师总结过马路要遵守交通规则。

Let’s chant! (有关交通的）

Step III: Consolidation. T: Use the words and sentences to make a dialogue. (让小组用所学内容自己编个小对话）

小组展示。

Step IV: Expansion. 老师对所学内容进行总结。并拓展更多的有关北京的著名地点。

Step V: Homework 1.用英语向家人介绍长城。

2.用今天所学的内容编写一个小对话。
