【教学目标】
知识目标:
1.单词:cheap, expensive, send, email。
重点句型: Is it cheap? ——No, it isn’t./ Yes,it is. 2.学生能用一般疑问句对物品特征进行询问,并用形容词对物品进行描述。
能力目标:
1.学生能谈论购物与商品的价格。
2.通过小组活动的方式练习所学句型,培养学生团队合作意识。
3.将所学应用到生活中。
情感目标:
1.在日常交流中积极尝试使用英语。
2.通过学习Amy与grandma打电话,学生要经常与长辈沟通,增进感情。
【教学重、难点】:
能运用文中涉及到的单词;能用Is it …?对物品进行询问并回答。
【教具】:音频资料、PPT。
【教学过程】:
一.Warming up 1.Greeting 2.Revision and leading in. ①Look at the pictures and say colour . ②Remember the words in 10 seconds. ③Talk about the pictures with “It’s …”. 二.Presentation 1.Learn the new knowledge. ①Teacher shows a picture and asks “What color is it? ”
S1:
It’s … and ….
T: Yes, and it’s 40 yuan. It’s cheap. Teacher gives the theme and aim: Useing this sentence
pattern to learn M2 U1 It’s cheap.
And learn the word“cheap”. ②T shows a picture and lead in the sentence pattern: “Is it cheap? No. it isn’t.”
③Students practise the sentence pattern ④Teaching new word: expensive.
⑤Students read the word one by one then say the sentence. ⑥Teacher says sentences with things, then students practise with partner. 2.Play a game. ①What can you find out? (出示不同物品图片,让生同桌说一说再指生描述,为下一步猜图游戏做铺垫) ②Guess A student asks “Is it …?” the other students answer “Yes,it is”or “ No, it isn’t”.
(设计意图:先学习单词,再针对单词做练习帮助学生记忆,由练习单词过渡到引出一般疑问句的教学及练习,整个环节要衔接得自然,能顺利地将学生逐步引入新知。)
三.Drill and practise 1.Learn the new words :“send,email”and lead in the text.
2.Learn the text. ①Read for the first time ,then answer. Amy’s computer:
Is it cheap? ----- Yes, it is. Is it beautiful? ----- Yes, it is. Is it purple ? ----- No, it isn’t. ②Read the text again, then answer. Grandma’s computer: Is it small?---- No, it isn’t. Is it helpful? ----- Yes, it is. Amy and grandma can send emails. ③Listen and repeat ④Practice: Read in roles 3.Make a dialogue in groups. (设计意图:依据问题引导教学法学习课文,先由简单的问题促
进学生学习的兴趣,多次读文帮助学生理解课文,在学生对课文和句型都掌握后,进行对话练习对知识进行巩固。通过小组合作,让学生都得到练习,并激发他们互帮互助的意识。)
四.Consolidation 1.Please match the words and phonetics. 2.Write down the words in your notebook. 3.Complete the sentences.
(设计意图:巩固新知在于练习,学生可以从多方面得到练习。)
五.Sum up T:What have we learnt? T:Yes, today we learnt how to talk about the things. And I hope you can like Amy often talk with your elders. 六.Homework 1.描述家里自己喜欢的物品,并与同学交流。
2.与家里的老人聊天,谈谈自己最近的变化。
(设计意图:课后作业巩固新知,第二个作业提升学生与老人沟通的意识。)
