教学目标: 1.能听、说、读、写本课的核心词汇：earth, forest , ocean , land, part, rubbish , so many 2.能熟练掌握核心句型：

We should stop cutting down so many trees. 3.通过学习，增强环保意识，提出环保建议。

教学重难点：

1.能在语境中运用本课的核心词汇和句型。

2.学生能运用核心句型交流看法。

录音机、自制课件

教学过程：

StepⅠ. Warm up and revision

1.Greeting

2.Free talk T: Last two weeks, we learnt the air and threes, we know they are very important to us, why?

(ppt出示the air and trees 的关键词，抽生说一说。)

Step Ⅱ.Presentation and practice

1. Lead in. T: today, we will learn another important thing. It is big and round. We all live on it. Do you know it? (PPT呈现地球图片，板书课题The Earth,并领读)

2. Learn to say and use the new words 1)

Ask and answer T：Look at this picture. Is it beautiful? What can you see? What are they? (通过自读课文，对子讨论PPT上的问题) 2）Check the answers and teach the new words (抽生回答，领读，抽读)

3. Think and say

4. Listen and say

T: What’s wrong with the Earth? What does Ms Guo say? (播放录音两遍，学生听音填空)

5. Look, read and practice T: Can we do anything to help the Earth? What should we do? Read this dialogue again and try to find the answer. ( The pupils read the text carefully. And then try to do some exercises.) StepⅢ.Activities

Act out the dialogues in groups.
