Module 7 Unit 1 Are there many children in your class? 一、教材分析

本套教材注重学生语言运用能力的培养，教学内容紧密联系学生的生活实际，本课是《新标准英语》（一年级起点）三年级下册第七模块第一单元。本模块的话题是Numbers，功能是Counting numbers。学生在已知数字及There is…/ There are…句型的基础上用一般疑问句“Are there many…?”来询问物品，并进行肯定及否定回答，回答相应数字。

二、学情分析

对于三年级学生来说,本节课句子看似较长,但读起来比较上口,易理解,只要把句子结构梳理清楚,学生学习接触起来还是比较容易的。针对三年级学生的年龄特点,本课设计了与教学内容相关的游戏活动，激发学生的学习兴趣，调动了学生的学习积极性，使学生在情境中学习，感受所学知识，并运用到实际中。

三、设计理念

教师根据新课标理念, 以人为本,面向全体,让学生通过感知,体验,实践,参与,合作交流来愉悦的完成任务目标。在设计整个课堂教学活动的过程中，本着寓教于乐，让英语课堂活起来的原则，尊重学生的主体地位，让学生参与到课堂活动里，使学生的主观能动性得到充分发挥。

四、教学目标

（一）语言知识目标

1.全体学生能运用:Are there many children in your class? 2.全体学生能理解本课单词:class, any, ask, question, forty, so , about，并能

运用class, any, ask , about 3. 感知课文的语音语调。

（二）语言技能目标

1.全体学生能听懂并练说“Are there many children in your class?”

2. 全体学生能运用“Are there many children in your class?”及Yes,there are. No，there aren’t.进行回答。

3. 全体学生能认读:class, any, ask , about，拼写class, any, ask , about。

（三）学习策略

通过猜一猜，归纳小结等方式，在基础知识的学习后学生能够在小范围内展开调查研究，积极解决问题。

（四）文化意识

在学习和日常交际中，进一步注意到中外文化异同。

（五）情感态度

通过本课学习使学生保持并巩固英语学习的兴趣、敢于开口，乐于参与各种形式的学习活动，并在鼓励性评价中不断树立学习英语的自信心。

4. Listen, point and say. T: Are there any monkeys here? No, there aren’t. But it’s Bob’s joke. （设计意图:歌曲热身，欢快的内容创设了轻松愉悦的氛围，有效的刺激了学生视觉和听觉，并进行环环紧扣的复习活动。）

ⅡTask Presentation Talk about children’s number in China and in the UK, then let’s do a survey about the numbers of study articles. Let’s learn M7U1. Are there many children in your class? （设计意图：呈现任务，明确学习目标，学生练读标题句，带着任务开始本课的学习。）
