Learning Aims:

1. Enable students to improve their listening skills gradually.

2. Learn to predict the listening content from the questions.

3. Master the expressions and phrases. Important and Difficult points: 1. Learn to use the listening skills before the while listening. 2. Grasp some key words and phrases, such as sick, definitely, absolutely, pay for, to be honest, break down, get stuck in and so on. Teaching procedures: Step1:Revision Step2: Pre-listening Look through Exercise 1 on page 27, and pay attention to:

1. memorizing the key words of each question.

2. the inner connections of the questions.
