Students should find out what the past tense is. It’s that when everything happened in the past, we use the simple past tense. Revise the form of the simple past tense with the students. Revise the forms of the verbs in the simple past tense. Show some verbs to students and get them to write the correct forms of the past tense. 1) reply

Students should discuss in group which are negative sentences and which are question sentences.

Get students to read the model sentences on Page 73 and ask them to conclude the drills. 1) 否定句：主语+ didn’t + V原形
