Teaching Procedures Step1:Pre-reading

Enjoy a poem about a pig and find the word rhyme Designing aims 通过欣赏一篇与动物相关的诗歌导入新课，激发学生对诗歌的热爱，同时让学生了解诗歌的韵律美。

顺理成章地导入本课两篇诗歌，通过猜谜和简单交谈了解各种不同宠物的名称和习性。激发学生的学习热情，为Reading的继续学习作铺垫。

Step2: Warm-up

Read through the two poems and answer the question: What are the poems about?

Guess the riddles about the pets. Enjoy some pictures of different animals and simply talk about their behaviour.

Step3: Deal with the first poem on page 94 1. Let the students talk about the dog’s behaviour

2. Read the first poem and find more behaviour of the dog. 3. Do some exercises and retell the dog’s behaviour according to the key words. 回归文本，通过多种方式把第一篇4. Listen to the poem and try to find the poem rhyme. 关于狗的诗歌进行解析，进一步欣‘All’ rhymes with

Step5: Review Finish the passage about the dog and the goldfish. Finish the passage with the new words on page 96.
